Brussels, Belgium: Brussels Airlines starts a new customer programme called Loop, which can be used on all of the Cheap Brussels airlines flight tickets in Europe. LOOP is made for the growing number of customers who regularly fly Brussels Airlines within Europe but don't get much out of traditional frequent flyer programmes.
Brussels Airlines had 5.7 million passengers in the first nine months of 2015. This is an increase of 12.4% and a new record for the company. This growth is due to a new business plan that the airline started using in 2014 to strengthen its position in a market in Europe where competition is growing all the time.

With LOOP, Brussels Airlines is adding a new programme to its existing Miles & More programme to give customers more benefits faster. LOOP wants to change the way that frequent flyer programmes usually work. Customers in the loyalty programme get three LOOPs for every euro they spend on Brussels Airlines flights (not including airport taxes). LOOPs are the name of the points in the programme. For the launch of LOOP, each euro will be worth 6 LOOPs for a short time (until 31 December). These LOOPs can be used to book new flights, just like a grocery store's loyalty card.
Families with up to five people living under the same roof can collect LOOPs together to get to a free flight even faster. There are no blackout dates anymore, so you can use your points whenever you want. Once a customer has taken five round-trip flights or earned 5,000 LOOPs, they can use them on any European Brussels Airlines flight. If the customer doesn't have enough LOOPs, he or she can pay with a combination of money and points. Also, LOOPs never expire as long as the member flies with Brussels Airlines within Europe at least once a year. There are no status levels or membership cards in LOOP. Everything is done online.
LOOP is one of the best loyalty programmes on the market right now. It is based on two ideas: that it should be easy to use and that customers should be able to get what they want most as quickly as possible, which is a free flight. LOOP is a great addition to Miles & More, which we already have. With LOOP, we can now offer more benefits to loyal Brussels Airlines customers who don't fly every week.
Customers can join both Miles & More and LOOP, but they have to choose whether they want to earn LOOPs or Miles & More miles when flying with Brussels Airlines within Europe.
