· The weather in Mecca is excessively hot in summer. Make sure that the fabric used to make the clothes is breathable.
· Bring at least three sets of Abayas, since they will be worn several times and get dirty or torn.
· White colour may appear slightly transparent in the sun, uncovering the body. So, it is essential to make sure the fabric of the clothing is thick enough to prevent any exposure.
· If a woman chooses to wear a white Abaya, she must also wear white socks, underwear, and a hijab.
