A Thaumonomicon is required to begin Thaumcraft 6. This can be obtained by mining an Air Crystal, a Fire Crystal, a Water Crystal, an Earth Crystal, an Order Crystal, an Entropy Crystal, or a Flux Crystal. After that, the player will receive a message encouraging them to sleep in a Bed.

Thaumcraft 6 is Azanor’s remake of the Thaumcraft 5 mod. Thaumcraft is based on the art of Thaumaturgy, a type of magic. A Thaumaturge is a person who practises Thaumaturgy. This individual is also defined as someone who uses the magical essences contained inside tangible items to achieve wonders and miracles.
