Look I'll just come right out and state RuneScape gold, so far as community direction moves, jagex is becoming really... well depending upon your standpoint comically lazy, so inept they're starting to boarder on the dark EA/bethesda degrees of incompetent. Part of this is admittedly from feeling deaf or readily from place opinions into the community over many many an issue, yet another portion of this, is that the perplexing lack of action against especially scammers and exploiters. I mean hell, even as far as I am still conscious, that one lure via a certain tree with a specific area is still working (if you understand any lurers that one seems to be their mecca).

I truly do feel jagex does have to step it up, update their account system to add video/screenshots not only flimsy chat logs, harshen their punishments and expand them to alts in addition to mains, and only generally listen for their forums more. Make a subheading that posts can only be considered by staff just for posting clips/images? Gotta drag their feet on fixing lures cause people scammed out of wealth are more likely to use bonds to receive some back. As for the treasure hunter thing I do not think even a generic"oh we banned any accounts" can perform. They need number of reports was tapped into runescape, names of culprits, actual evidence that something was done besides banning such as 3 no titles without a community presence.

So far as lurers proceed, I feel as if it's just another drop in the bucket of motives to the place of Dangerous PVP in RS. If staking in the Duel Arena gets taken out in response to government pressure on in-game gaming due to having the ability to buy gold with Bonds, the Wilderness is going to be on the chopping block too for exactly the same reasons. And is that going to be a reduction? I have gotten some blowback for suggesting this earlier, but I truly feel like changing to buy RS gold a system much like The Division's Dark Zone (ie. You really don't lose the equipment you earn, and the danger factor comes from accessing the valuables from within the PVP region out) could be the best way ahead. And why I mention it here is that it'd address the issue real fast.
