Before diving too deep in our MT 2K23 guide, we'd suggest spending time in the training mode 2KU and playing around with what settings work best for you. Here, we've listed some suggestions to get you started.NBA 2K23 has a ton of camera options for you to try out, but you really can't compare to the tried and true 2K in our opinion.

This puts you behind an offensive squad, a little much like Madden NFL that allows you to have a comprehensive vision of the floor, and look for open lanes or teammates with wide-open spaces. We also believe this view is the best for defense as it gives you an accurate view of the person you're protecting as well as any movements around you. Of course you can adjust the zoom and the height for a less sloping perspective. You can alter the motion blur by changing the settings if you find that affects your speed.

A new addition to NBA 2K23 allows you to determine how quickly or slowly the shot meter appears, in the event that it's enabled. There are four variations available in the Controller Settings These are: Very Early, Early, Late, and Very Late. While playing around with this won't affect the animations in your jumping shots, it will affect how quickly the display of the meter. Personally, we are a fan to be Very Early.

The meter shows nearly immediately after pressing the button, and provides you with a few extra milliseconds to time your release, but if you feel you're never getting your shots right, you may prefer the time of release to be Late and somewhere around between. The best way to figure out what you like is to practice with once your favourite players 2KU.

By default, your defensive Assist Strength will default to 50 when you go to the Control Settings. This feature attempts to predict how your adversaries will move that you're trying to protect, however, we've noticed that it's Safe NBA 2K23 MT far too overly aggressive at times. You can turn this off completely if you are confident in your abilities on the sticks, however we'd suggest keeping it at a minimum to give you some magnetic force to keep you ahead of your competitors.
