I 100% believe that this was the case in Hearthstone
I'd honestly have to WOW Classic TBC Gold read/research a lot more. I really only know it did happen; the when; how much it cost, etc., however I don't think I ever saw the why. I didn't believe Vivendi Games was ever that hard up for cash, but I suppose something Activision had appeared enticing enough.
The two Vanilla and TBC classic are outside, capable to experience as it had been. And. . . And I would say I enjoy the classic variations a lot less than retail now. It is a lot slower and simpler. It's more clunky. Rewards thing a great deal less since the PvE experiences are balanced around someone with performance difficulties and a good deal worse awareness and ability of the match.
Really isn't that the games have become worse, it is the player mindset which have changed. Coupled with a ton of tools for knowledge and learning. People wanting to take shortcuts instead of learning, leading them to feel like it is a grind when they can not simply jump into the rewards. People today consume content a great deal faster and use a lot of crutches to perform it. They bypass most of the investigating and trial and error parts, which is what they remember most lovingly in the old games, in favor for optimisation and min/max from the get go. A whole lot of optimization is not even about doing things better, but removing things all together. Which also leads to people complaining that they"feel pressured" doing things as they're so used to having the ability to bypass it.
I 100% believe that this was the case in Hearthstone. I have not played in a very long time but back when they first started adding cards there would be a few brand new broken strategy everyone needed to play Blizzard sat around for months saying everything was fine before waiting to launch some half-assed counter in another expansion. When it failed that they eventually delivered a balance patch to fix the original matter. I am positive people stuck around just to buy WOW TBC Gold see if the new cards would change whatever so the player numbers were fostered.
