In my case I've lost about 225k from 3 deaths in quests. And we're completely ignoring the time it takes to earn this money, however in my case I haven't had to spend any time making money, so long as I go without things most people have such as whips. 

Jagex is constantly releasing new quests that increase the skill level required to acquire the quest cape. Skills only get harder if they change. I believe that the quest capse is more difficult than any of the 2 or 3 average skill capes combined. Discuss.
