Maybe he's worried like me and that is the way he copes with it? Katt, our other companion, largely kept to himself, but every so often I would hear her singing softly. It was fine. We arrived in the night, giving us time before the sun disappeared over the horizon to accumulate our gear out of Nook. No one appeared to be in any hurry. Nook came prepared with supplies to last months though he was taken by customers up on his offer that was escape. I saw before setting up my tent next to the shore close to the 22, Katt and Goose wander off. I wasn't convinced about this deserted island nonsense, so I wished to be close to an escape possible.

Since I finished I was not asked by nook if I could go around and collect cherries. They were not difficult to locate; like cherries are the only fruit that grow 18, it feels. I brought him a few armfuls. Nook and his sons put about working within their own tent, and came back out carrying frosty mugs of cold smoothies. We gathered around a bonfire close to the central region of our little settlement, sipping on our drinks and watching the stars. As time we scuttled back into our tents, each of us nodding quietly to others as we bid goodnight. I fell asleep to the sound of sea waves.

Nook's voice woke me up as it crackled from a loudspeaker, a combination of his own hectic rambling. Sometime during the night, he and the twins establish a system to make statements in the common area. Not that I locate Nook annoying or something, but getting roused from a great night's sleep through what is supposed to be a holiday (or even sojourn) is fairly annoying. Luckily, when we had a moment all he asked is for me and my island neighbors to gather at the square. I tried to grab a few more winks and turned over in my warm sleeping bag.

I found getting back to sleep difficult, so I made my way towards Nook's tent, which he's taken to calling Resident Services. Seems all he wanted was to give everyone a special cell phone so we can all stay in touch. There is not much on there at the moment, but Nook said he'll periodically push out updates with new apps and so on. I immediately got a notification for something called"Nook Miles," which Nook explained will act as a type of secondary currency on the island in addition to Bells. We'll get Nook Miles, he said, for doing ordinary things like talking to our fellow island inhabitants and planting flowers, which Animal Crossing Items may then be traded for particular things at a terminal in his tent. This also helps him maintain the transition of the island from left handed to habitable, seemingly.
