Muay Thai kickboxing is a sport that has been gaining popularity over the last few decades. It is known for its brutal and deadly techniques, but also for its beauty and discipline. The art of Muay Thai involves using eight points of contact - fists, elbows, knees, and shins - to strike an opponent in the ring.

In a typical Muay Thai fight, two competitors enter the ring and begin by performing a ceremonial dance called the Wai Kru Ram Muay. This dance pays respect to their teachers and ancestors, as well as warming up their bodies for the fight ahead. Once the dance is complete, the fighters touch gloves and begin to battle it out.

The rules of Muay Thai are quite strict; strikes must be above the waist and below the neck, no holding or grappling is allowed, and fights are typically five rounds lasting three minutes each.
