Key Highlights of the New Parking Fee Structure

Peak Hours Defined:

  • Morning: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

  • Evening: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

  • Applicable from Monday to Saturday; Sundays and public holidays are exempt.

Premium Parking Rates:

  • AED 6 per hour during peak hours.

  • AED 4 per hour during off-peak hours.

Regular Parking Rates:

  • Remain unchanged at AED 4 per hour citywide.

Congestion Pricing:

  • AED 25 per hour during major events in high-traffic zones, such as the Dubai World Trade Centre. 

Premium Parking Zones

Premium parking zones are designated based on specific criteria to manage high-demand areas effectively. These include:

  • Areas within 500 meters of metro stations.

  • High-occupancy zones during peak times.

  • Dense commercial and business districts. ​

Parking Zones and Rates Breakdown

Dubai's parking system is divided into four zones: A, B, C, and D, each with distinct pricing structures for standard and premium parking.

Zone A: Standard On-Street Parking

  • Standard Fees:

    • 1 hour: AED 4

    • 2 hours: AED 8

    • 3 hours: AED 12

    • 4 hours: AED 16

  • Premium Fees:

    • Peak hours: AED 6 per hour

    • Off-peak hours: AED 4 per hour

Zone B: Off-Street Parking

  • Standard Fees:

    • 1 hour: AED 4 (peak) / AED 3 (off-peak)

    • Flat daily rate: AED 30

  • Premium Fees:

    • 1 hour: AED 6 (peak) / AED 3 (off-peak)

    • Flat daily rate: AED 40

Zone C: On-Street Parking

  • Standard Fees:

    • 1 hour: AED 4 (peak) / AED 2 (off-peak)

    • 4 hours: AED 16 (peak) / AED 11 (off-peak)

  • Premium Fees:

    • 1 hour: AED 6 (peak) / AED 2 (off-peak)

Zone D: Off-Street Parking

  • Standard Fees:

    • 1 hour: AED 4 (peak) / AED 2 (off-peak)

    • Daily rate: AED 20

  • Premium Fees:

    • 1 hour: AED 6 (peak) / AED 2 (off-peak)

    • Daily rate: AED 30 ​

Payment Methods

Drivers can pay for parking using various methods:

  • RTA mobile application.

  • SMS with vehicle details to the designated number.

  • Nol cards.

  • Parking meters accepting coins, credit/debit cards.
