HOW DOES HIGHLIGHTING WORK?
It took a lot of time and money to develop the Trigalight® technology, which can be used to determine the position of the hands in the dark. It is based on the principle of a physical reaction, when tritium gas is pumped into thin tubes covered with a luminescent substance. Then the tubes are sealed, and H3 electrons begin to bombard the luminescent sputtering. This creates a bright, stable backlight at night.
Due to the small size of the cones where the gas is injected and the scanty distance of the tritium electrodes (1-3 mm), this technology is considered absolutely safe for human health. The half-life of tritium is 12 years. The backlight will work the same way.
