World of Warcraft fans discover evidence that the event celebrating the discharge of Diablo 4 is coming to Dragonflight soon.
According to some recent builds of their Public Test Realm, World of Warcraft might be holding a crossover event with Diablo 4 soon. This event will probably come to World of Warcraft in May within the weeks before Diablo 4’s launch.
World of Warcraft Patch 10.1 is arriving on May 2, bringing by using it a new zone, story campaign, and raid. Parts of the main patch happen to be available on the WoW PTR, which periodically receives test builds for players to see.

One of those most recent builds contained a brand new event called Welcome to Sanctuary. According to the big event description, players can hunt down treasure goblins across Azeroth for unique rewards and can benefit from the Winds of Sanctuary–a 50% experience buff and 8% reputation gain increase for those factions except the brand new Loamm Niffen from Embers of Neltharion. The dates of this event are unlisted, but players can get the event to start after Patch 10.1 arrives. It will probably run through Diablo 4’s launch on June 6–and perhaps beyond release day to help keep players signing in to World of Warcraft.
In addition to the experience and reputation boost, players can earn several cosmetic items during the big event. A new World of Warcraft achievement associated with the brand new Baal’lial battle pet indicates players can earn a brand new minion themed following the Lord of Lies from Diablo 3. Item entries for any Horadric Haversack bag as well as an Enmity Hood and Cloak ensemble are also discovered, as have models for any cosmetic Wirt’s Leg mace along with a Treasure Nabbin’ Bag back piece. Players will probably be in a position to earn these things by defeating Treasure Goblins, exchanging currency, or any other similar activities.
Players are understandably looking forward to this Diablo 4 crossover event in WoW. Welcome to Sanctuary wouldn't be the first of these events–Blizzard has held similar crossovers in the past, also it even features a World of Warcraft mount within the Diablo 4 pre-purchase bundles. Collaborations between Blizzard games have historically been very popular, and players are wanting to see official details for that Winds of Sanctuary event from WoW itself.
With Diablo 4’s successful open beta behind it, and it is released in a couple of months, players can’t wait to revisit Sanctuary once again. Though Azeroth’s population could take a dip for any short time after its launch, the Welcome to Sanctuary event will make sure players don’t ignore World of Warcraft because they battle against Lilith and her minions.
