First responders are the unsung heroes who put themselves in harm's way to help others every single day. They are the brave individuals who rush into dangerous situations while everyone else is running away. In this article, we have had the privilege of interviewing a few real-life heroes - first responders who share their experiences and insights on what it takes to be a first responder.
One of our interviewees is John, a firefighter with over 15 years of experience. He shares his thoughts on how being a first responder has changed him as an individual and what motivates him to keep going even after all these years. "The sense of community that comes with being a firefighter is something that I cherish," says John. "We work together as one unit and there's nothing more satisfying than knowing that you've helped someone when they needed it the most.
