I'm not mad at Diablo Immortal. I can imagine that some players may. It's an insignificant game in a long-running series, and the F2P mechanics can be as disruptive as they look. If (and this is a big "if") you're able be able to get past this, there's an extremely solid game under the hood it, that is enjoyable to play and plenty of different options to play.
If you've not played the Diablo series previously, this is not the best place to begin. I'd recommend Diablo III instead, which is available at no cost on PC. For Diablo gamers, Immortal is at least worth checking out, but be warned that the game wants a lot of your time, or, preferably the majority of your money.
The Diablo franchise is in a weird state at the moment. Diablo Immortal has been a huge commercial growth for Blizzard However, it has damaged Diablo's image due to its questionable, and possibly predatory commercialization. Diablo 4 has looked impressive in gameplay trailers, gameplay trailers and other trailers, however many players have expressed concerns it's going to re-create Diablo's microtransactions. Blizzard has attempted to calm gamers about the microtransactions of Diablo 4 but we'll never know for sure how it will all work until the game is officially released.
Diablo 4 currently lacks a definitive release date, however it's expected to drop sometime in the first half of 2023. It appears that Diablo 4 fans who are excited to learn when exactly they can play buy Diablo IV Gold should be sure to tune into The Game Awards in December.
