Body type, it turns out, is tied to class roles as an element of game's fantasy, said Rod Fergusson, executive producer and Diablo IV Gold director of the Diablo franchise at Blizzard Entertainment.
"Body type is something we think of as part of the class's fantasy," Fergusson said in the roundtable discussion, noting that the game's creators created a "'dad bod' Druid and an emaciated Necromancer" on purpose. "Those are the elements that makes the class, in certain aspects, therefore the idea of having a dad-bod Necro or an emaciated Druid was not part of the school's fantasy.
"We sought to provide the widest range of options by offeringnumerous race, ethnicities, hair and markings or eye coloring, but there were certain elements that made the class the class, and for Diablo 4 it was body type."Body type and class archetypes are also tied into Diablo 4's armor and gear designs, along with the other features that go into the class, Fergusson said. In other words, making armor that suits the bulk of a barbarian's body would be difficult to scale down to the 90-pound equivalent of the same class. "The top goal was to give the most high-level choice you could get in the Diablo game" Fergusson said. "We wanted to make it more about your personalization [andthe ability to customize, while your barbarian will remain a barbarian -- it's going to be strong and not a waif."
Diablo 4 expands on the array of options for personalizing characters by presenting its campfire of adventurers sporting random look-alikes as players play the game. It's not clear from the game that the Barbarian is supposed to be a white-haired man who hails from Mount Arreat, or that any other classes should be bound to gender or ethnicity roles by default.
Although Diablo 4's character design options aren't as extensive like other role-playing games of the present but they are able to produce great-looking, personalized characters, while keeping that dark and medieval look Blizzard wants to achieve.
Diablo 4 continues the saga of Blizzard's most popular games with a fresh look into Hell. The follies of the human angels, demons and angels lie at the heart of the Diablo series and the ex- Archangel Tyrael sits squire at the center of it all.
After Inarius and Lilith had secretly created Sanctuary with the Nephalem as the children born to both angels and human beings, the Council of Archangels convened to decide on humanity's fate. Tyrael cast the deciding vote, and this means that he's accountable for the decision of all of the Angiris Council, leading to him dying prior to happenings in cheap Diablo IV Gold all for the for the sake of humanity.
