An optical material known as Polarizing Film allows light waves of one polarization to pass while blocking light waves of other polarizations. Iodine is absorbed on the surface of polarizing film or dyeing film, primarily polyvinyl alcohol (PVA). As a result, the film has polarization properties that only permit light traveling in a specific oscillation direction to pass through it.
The Polarizing Film is a necessary raw material for the polarizer film, which is used in liquid crystal display (LCD) panels, lenses, and optical filters. This is due to the polarization property of the polarizing film. It changes a beam of light with an ambiguous or mixed polarization into a beam of polarized light with a clearly defined polarization.
