There are various types of anti-blue light glasses on the market, with a mix of good and bad. Many merchants spend less money on making counterfeit anti-blue light glasses. So how do you test whether the purchased anti blue light glasses are truly anti-blue light?

Blue light pen irradiation: Use a blue light pen to illuminate the lens. For lenses without an anti-blue light function, blue light basically penetrates through the lens, while for anti-blue light glasses, under blue light irradiation, most of the blue light is blocked by the lens.

The effect of using an anti-blue light test card in combination is more obvious. Without the obstruction of anti-blue light glasses lenses, the test card reacts to turn purple under the irradiation of a blue light pen. However, the test card under the obstruction of anti-blue light lenses does not change because the blue light is blocked.

The lenses are slightly yellow, and anti-blue light glasses may appear slightly yellow visually due to filtering out harmful blue light according to the principle of color compensation.

The surface of the lens reflects blue light. Generally, anti-blue light lenses using film reflection technology reflect harmful blue light, so the surface of the lens will reflect blue light. However, anti-blue light lenses using substrate absorption technology will not reflect blue light.
