Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
That day, when I was an 11 year old girl. I love holding in my hand Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I was captivated from the first lines of the boy who had a poor childhood and was estranged from his aunt and uncle. The miracle came when he received the first letters through the owl. The Hogwart School's tenacity and diligence blew me away. Then when Hagrid appeared, he yelled at Uncle Vernon. The adventures of the trio of Harry, Ron and Hermione constantly stimulated my curiosity. I grew up with the series, and I also watched the hit movie adaptation starring Daniel, Emma, and Rupert. My favorite person in the movie is the guy I hate the most in the series, the snobby boy Draco Malfoy. In the movie, the guy with platinum hair and captivating eyes captivated millions of fan girls. 20 years on, the attraction of Harry Potter has not decreased. I continue to buy this book for my middle school brother. Surely she, like me, will grow up in a colorful wizarding world. What's slightly missing is just the feeling of having to wait years to get your hands on a book you love. Even then, I did not have much money, so I could only wait for the city library to borrow that precious book. Now, I have an entire Harry Potter set at home mapquest driving directions. This is truly the most valuable book of the 20th century because it was my childhood.
