Cold chain logistics is a technology that is both complex and risky.
So why is cold chain logistics so important in modern logistics? The reason is that cold chain logistics makes it possible to transport many goods that could not be transported to the outside world.
Vaccines, as important medical supplies, are naturally one of them. In addition, many medicines or surgical appliances and medical devices that need to be refrigerated are also the objects of cold chain logistics. In addition to the pharmaceutical cold chain, fresh and partially processed foodstuffs that are common in our daily lives also require cold chain logistics to complete the logistics work.
And, as a result, cold chain logistics has had a number of beneficial effects. The first is the reduction in the rate of food spoilage. In the normal mode of transport, fresh food often needs to be cooled by ice, and spoilage is inevitable when transport is long or over long distances. Cold chain logistics requires not only refrigeration equipment, but also temperature control inside the container. Simply put, even if it is refrigerated, not every commodity is transported at a different temperature. There is also the issue of energy, and the stability and accuracy of the temperature measurement and control equipment is directly related to the quality of the cold chain.
