New World disables store skins after server crash
Skins for In New World, Corrupted Love Pack, and Angels and Demon have all been disabled until further notice. After the launch of a bunch of new skins earlier this week, many players are buying New World Coins to get the skins they want. Unfortunately, Amazon Game Studios recently disabled these new cosmetics in New World as they seem to cause server issues all the time.
In a post on social media, Amazon shared that both the Fallen Love Pack and new Angel and Demon skins have been pulled from the store while the issue is being investigated. According to the post, the skins caused server crashes. Amazon plans to let fans know when they can come back and spend New World Coins on purchases.
It seems New World’s difficult launch, plagued by bugs and server issues, isn’t over yet. But over the next month, many of its problems will be resolved, based on answers to players’ questions about when the new playable content will join the game.
