Solution 1. Verify and set Internet Explorer as your default web browser
- Exit the QuickBooks Desktop application and open Internet Explorer.
- On the upper right corner, click the Gear icon and select Internet Options.
- Choose the Programs tab, go to the Default web browser section and select the Make Default button.
- Click OK and close Internet Explorer.
Solution 2. Check and configure Internet Explorer settings
- Close the QuickBooks Desktop, open Internet Explorer, and select the Tools menu.
- Click Internet Options, select the Security tab, and click the Globe icon.
- Ensure the security level is set to Medium-High, and then click the Connections tab.
- Select Never Dial a Connection, if you don’t use the dial-up node (DUN). If you use the same, select the correct ISP and click OK.
