Just because karts are streamlined technology in motorsport, that doesn't mean they're simple. As the kart has evolved over the years, the chassis itself, along with a few other key components, has become the key to unlocking the capabilities of its suspension "system".
One way to manipulate the suspension in many ways is how to position your seat in a kart. The driver's body is usually their greatest weapon. Whether it's to feel how the kart handles, or actually control the kart in a different way.
On top of that, we were the heaviest part of that kart. It's important to use your body wisely when racing, no matter how many different suspension changing strategies you implement, such as axle stiffness, spindle size or seating position.
