Developed by Cynosure, this new laser technology dissolves fat in the areas of treatment. It is effective in removing fat from areas of the body that are resistant to diet and exercise. Laser liposuction also helps tighten the skin and give a smoother overall appearance to the treated areas. Like other forms of liposuction, it is not to be viewed as a replacement for weight loss. Smart Liposuction Procedure

Through the use of a technique called laser lipolysis, the fat cells are broken open and liquified. The liquid fat is then suctioned out through a tiny tube called a cannula. Because it is a much less invasive procedure, recovery time is shortened and very little down time is required for healing.

The only downside to smart liposuction in comparison to the traditional method of liposuction is that it can sometimes take longer to see the full effects of the procedure.
