What I attended to think is a poet is a poet by vocation. It is definitely a contacting, and as with the famous words of Jesus in still another context, "The majority are named but few are chosen." Why is that? And does that invalidate the teaching of poetry ? More, and more individually, were my 15 decades of teaching poetry an entire spend of time?
