Come beside me at night to Scotland to relish the September utilizing a bride within the beauty of a gown by feeltimes dresses. On 18 September 2021 Robert, head of digital media for Rangers Football Club wed Stephanie, a freelance journalist, and digital manager, at The Loch Lomond Arms in Luss, Scotland.
The bride wore her hair down in perfectly glam waves, styled by Gillian at Pin Up Hair Glasgow. She added a rose gold and crystal, floral hair clip from Ivory & Co via Anne Priscilla Bridal during the day, changing into gold 'Mrs. B' hair slides from Six Stories for the evening reception. Stephanie's make-up was flawless and defined, applied by Charlie at Bang Bang Beauty.
The bride's ball gown was custom FeelTimes, purchased at feeltimes.com. The dress featured long, buttoned sleeves, a whole, Mikado silk ball gown skirt along with a plunging V-back.
"The shop itself is gorgeous with this sort of varied choice of gowns and they also make it seem as being a special experience too. I always wear long sleeves when I choose to get dressed up, so I knew that I would get myself a sleeve. Plus, I love the appearance of wedding dresses with sleeves. My dress is a long-sleeve, boat neck gown utilizing a textured Mikado silk, ball gown skirt. The back is a plunging V with silk buttons. I loved everything about my dress."
"The fit was perfect, I loved the sleeves along with the pockets! I also loved the skirt's texture – tiny little diamond shapes that you simply couldn't determine whether you don't were close-up. It was relatively easy and easy, classic, and perfect for me. I only wish I could utilize it again."
The bridesmaids wore gowns within the deepest blue, all from Rewritten, another inside our much-loved Wedding Directory suppliers.
"My chief bridesmaid wore Seville in Ink along with the other girls wore Florence in Ink. They were from Melle Cloche in Glasgow, another unbelievable boutique who went far beyond for all of us, especially performing a major disaster with my chief bridesmaid's grown every week before the marriage."
"We desired to make a space that felt romantic and magical with plenty of candles and twinkling lights. I was aware of it didn't feel twee or fussy. I like minimalism but I like it to feel cozy which may be difficult to achieve!"
The fine weather allowed Steph and Robert to wed outside. The bride's father along with the bride walked around the outdoor aisle to 'Glasgow Love Theme' by Craig Armstrong along with the ceremony music from Rico Franchi.
"We designed the marriage ring together according to an eternity ring of my nan's that I loved. The gold used was from my mum's wedding band – she got a better some in the past and I used her original one for my ring. I prefer to incorporate sentiment into jewelry and I adore my rings. Wearing them each day is a whole pleasure."
Robert and Steph met online around fourteen the past once the bride was writing charity articles for almost any website that Robert was running.
"We chatted on MSN messenger and were friends for almost a while before meeting months later and hitting rid of it. We didn't meet up straight away but knew we'd do something. When Robert went after Glasgow from Northern Ireland (he was studying there), we started dating. We got engaged on Christmas Eve 2017 at Bothwell Castle, near where we live. It was the wettest, rainiest day ever nonetheless it was this sort of lovely magical moment at one of our favorite places. Christmas Eve is my favorite day of the year."
"We were considered married in September 2020 but due to that pandemic, we pushed it to September 2021. We're so glad we did because we'd the wedding that folks originally planned for and imagined."
With the continuing Covid pandemic, the pair was required to work around changing restrictions and located the What About Weddings campaign as a great source of support.
The day's photographer was Ross Alexander Photography, who captured the little details along with the wonderful location of the wedding.
"We clicked with Ross as soon as we met him. He was a photographer for my mate a few within the past and I thought his photos were great. They improved and better using the years and he was at the top of our shortlist. We were delighted to book him and the man was fantastic around the day – everyone said how great he'd have been to utilize."
