Set in the gorgeous, remote countryside all around the Norfolk Broads, the pair combined a quintessentially British vibe by having a relaxed and romantic marquee reception. The bride, who works in advertising, and also the groom, a money broker, were split between Switzerland, where Elise was raised, and also the UK, eventually choosing a Norfolk wedding within the village church where Elise was christened and where her parents were married. The style would be a celebration of the late summer countryside, having a neutral and stylish color palette of fresh greens and romantic whites running with the day.

The bride visited FeelTimes online shop where she selected the embroidered dress.

"I wore Rockstud ankle strap sandals in Poudre. My auntie sadly died before our big day and I know she would have loved to happen to be there. She left me some cash and I chose to put a lot of it towards my wedding shoes. I wore a set of pearl and diamond earrings as something borrowed. They were something special from Rory's late dad for his mum, who then handed them right down to my sister-in-law."

"I completely fell deeply in love with Alcazar when I used it on – floaty, beautiful tulle, probably the most intricate lace flowers around the sleeves along with a bit of the cheeky leg slit. It was also so comfortable – no boning, just all floaty, gorgeous material. It helped me feel amazing!"

The grown-up bridesmaids wore pink bridesmaid dresses.

"I gifted all of them dainty gold and pearl bracelet. Their shoes along with other accessories were the bridesmaids' own." Go

Rory and Elise met at Royal Holloway in 2008 within the bride’s second year of university.

"Rory lived using the boyfriend (now husband) of my housemate and that we met through them. We dated for a bit at university coupled with always holding in touch on and off through the years. He'd already asked my parents along with a few of his family knew too. We then went out foray lovely meal at our favorite restaurants – it had been completely unexpected and thus perfect."

"Rory proposed in March 2019 at our flat in London. We'd just been to the gym together so as I came out from the shower dripping wet inside a towel, he was recorded on one knee within our bedroom. I spent hours searching 'Farm Weddings' and 'Marquee Weddings' on Love My Dress. The website was a never-ending source of ideas and inspiration."

The bride traveled towards the church inside a traditional red London bus a nod to London.

"It requires my eight bridesmaids and mum and dad towards the church. It then ferried guests in the church towards the marquee meadow. My dad walked me on the aisle, which was lovely, and was married by Reverend Mandy who works across several churches in Surlingham and also the surrounding villages."

"So many couples say this but don't sweat the little stuff. It's the very best day of your lifetime. You'll look back and remember all of the good bits and laugh in the not-so-great bits!"
