Spring is officially here and we can all anticipate lighter, warmer, and much more carefree days ahead. Already the leaves are budding around the trees, prepared to become that deep and lush green so redolent of high summer.

Speaking which, it's my pleasure to express this London summer wedding, back within the days where friends and family could gather – a thing that we will all welcome again before too much time. This is the wedding of the art development manager and interactive producer, who finds the history in East London for his or her music and fun-filled day on 28 July 2019.

"We met through friends at university and also got talking on Facebook whenever we were both getting involved in an outdoor charity swimming event this year. We started dating long-distance as I was based up in Leeds and Nick in London."

The bride is feminine and modern in her own beautifully-fitted 'Ruby' gown. I'm a sucker for beading and also the all-over embellishment from the fitted, champagne-hued bodice is divine, the box the softly-trailing skirt.

"I had white leather trainers with sparkly soles. They were ideal for dancing in!"

The two bridesmaids looked pretty but edgy in their fresh green bridesmaid dresses.

"They each wore. I loved the Art Deco font and it had been very similar to all of our stationery typography created by Nick."

The final touches for that bride, the bridesmaids, and also the groom were flowers using their friend, founder, and inventive director, Jamie.

"All our flowers, plants bouquets, and buttonholes were arranged by our friend, Jamie. Jamie had always desired to have a go at doing flower arranging and extremely kindly offered. He went far above and created probably the most stunning arrangements. We shared lots of Pinterest boards and that he had lots of fun at Covent Garden Flower Market."

"Around the venue, we were built with a mixture of 'cottage garden' style flowers, herbs as well as vegetable plants that Jamie had grown or acquired in garden centers. I was interested in having protea during my bouquet and Jamie created probably the most beautiful arrangement. I was amazed and still, even today can't thank him enough."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"For us, it had been so important for that day to reflect us and who we're and what we like so make certain to not lose sight of this. It's your entire day and of course, you would like all your friends and family to possess fun, but it's about celebrating the adoring you have for one another first and foremost."
