Star Wars The Old Republic update adds weapon customization to Outfitter
The Star Wars The Old Republic team continues to update the game with new features and updates based on player feedback. The latest update introduces weapons in Outfitter, renames several currencies, and makes some tweaks to Flashpoints and Operations. And players can also prepare enough SWTOR Credits to be smoother in the game.
In terms of player customization, Update 7.0 brought a lot of overhauls to characters and gear and other options, but the team is slowly adding and tweaking some details. This update adds weapons to Outfitter, so players can equip weapons that determine their character’s stats, but they can change the appearance to another weapon of the same type 4 customization options. If a player’s character is using the dual wielding fighting style, the same applies to both of that character’s weapons.
Here is information on several currencies renamings. Medal of Commendation is now Conquest Commendation, Aquatic Resource Matrix is now Daily Resource Matrix, Hazardous Matter Catalyst is now OP-1 Catalyst, Thyrsian Production Accelerant is now WZ-1 Accelerant, Decurion Isotope Stabilizer is now FP-1 Stabilizer.
Flashpoints and Operations get some needed balance of attention. In Veteran and Master mode, several Flashpoints see all enemies’ health and damage reduced, and Spirit of Vengeance has the same changes in single-player mode. When players complete any Flashpoint through the Activity Finder, they will receive the correct 2 points for completing Tech Advancement missions.
Operations have also changed, including an updated reward table. Bosses in Story, Veteran and Master modes have new Tech Fragment reward numbers. Arenas and Warzones have also received some tweaks, perhaps most notably in the new progression path, where some daily and weekly missions now allow progress to be gained when lost.
