Affected targets will be able to take anywhere from 36% to 180% ability damage and an additional bleed effect with OSRS Gold. However, the person casting it will also suffer bleed damage. Therefore, it is very important that players do not employ this technique if their HP is not sufficient, as the ability can be fatal to them.

Runelite HD is a mod (made by one individual and 117) that takes Old School RuneScape and gives it an HD revamp. Since the year 2018, Jagex were issuing legal threats against mods that were similar to this, claiming they were copyright violation. But those seemed to have been swept away as Jagex granted their approval to one of the first Runelite.

However, earlier in the week, just hours before the upgraded Runelite HD was due for an official release the 117 group was contacted by Jagex in a letter requesting that work cease immediately and that the release be deferred. This time, however, it's not down to claims of copyright, but rather because Jagex has stated that they're preparing the own HD upgrade.

While that sounds somewhat fair initially it's not the case, but there's an issue. Runelite HD doesn't actually seem to break any of Jagex's mod guidelines, and the company says that new guidelines clarify that Runelite HD does actually break its own guidelines will be published this week.

Mod creator 117 states that they tried to reach an agreement with Jagex by offering to take down their mod after Jagex had completed their work its own work However, "they declined outright," seemingly spelling the end for a project that had taken up "approximately more than 2000 hours of work over two years."The Duel Arena was closed (and was demolished!) in the beginning of the year following some changes back in November. The increase in scams as well as RMT spammers started making an established feature have to be changed. The changes, however, were meant to be an initial step toward a complete replacement. The replacement was designed to be more secure , but still intended to let players get the duel (and the rewards) that are associated with good competition.

The PvP Arena operates as follows: indicate that you're looking for a fight and the system will be able to handle it. Keep playing and you'll be informed when a fight is scheduled after which you'll be taken to the alternate save world for PvP to take on a player with similar skill.

This is by design to deter RMT spammers and scammers who are looking for goods.
