Stick when grab and take or post disappear. Button from NBA 2K21 MT anyplace in close. Works for me but it took a little practice. Isn't it harder to select your layup in case you use button? I have always fought with those controls and used stick for layups. I swear I feel as though I have wasted $149 (Aussie dollars). I would LOVE to be shooting at 40% but I'm blessed if I could hit 20%. I only play offline. I understand we have scrub players at this time, and I am a below average player but seriously even layups that are in the middle of the meter are not going in. I do not even dare to try a jump shooter. The AI seems to be ridiculous levels too. I know they want to reward ability in 2k21 however this kind of material is going to truly put off casual players and those new the 2K franchise and brand new to basketball matches.

I've been enjoying since 2K13 but I've never been that good of a player. My starter players've never played with this bad at 2k16,17,18,19 and 20. The only other 2K I played with 2K20 was 2K13 and that has been on PC. I improved a hell of a lot in 2K20 to the point where I could go as large as Superstar without using STS. But this is a whole new level using a very different mechanic. I did ok at the demonstration and in the quickgames using the new shooting meter but can't hit the side of a barn .

Simply played with the demo, however, the stick was a great deal more reliable than button for me. I've always been a button man too. I've got a 75 3 pointer, I believe I greened one shot like 5 nba games. . Mostly broad open shots... and this was on allstar not even thinking to go at the rec centre. . Genuinely shooting 2/16 within an offline triple hazard game on only layups and 1 open jumpshot which airballed on marginally early. Spent $100 with this bullshit lmao. Man the shooting is additional nice right now but I would advise shot timing like appearance for your que on the animation.

Yep I'm having trouble with it also. Started a game on My group going 0/12 missing open 3s and midsize shots all around the place. I'm all for them toning shots being nearly automatic but the machine looks a little bit too unforgiving so far. Hopefully will start to get better after a couple more matches of Cheap MT NBA 2K21 becoming used to it. The game came out and we have ta new meter with slightly different timing.
