The origins of A Class in Wonders could be followed back to the venture between two people, Helen Schucman and William Thetford, both of whom were prominent psychologists and researchers. The course's inception happened in early 1960s when Schucman, who was simply a scientific and research psychologist at Columbia University's School of Physicians and Surgeons, started to have some internal dictations.
