The beautiful wedding couple is a performance manager Laura and Will, an expert rugby player, who married on 30 June 2018. The outdoor ceremony and reception, held at Alnwick, Northumberland, were inspired by a love of nature and botanicals and featured an easy, pared-back scheme of pure white and fresh green which encapsulated the spirit of the English country garden entirely bloom.

Laura and Will met 10 years ago and enjoyed 2 yrs of engagement before their wedding.

Laura's sublime gown originated from, Blagdon, Northumberland; a confection of tulle and appliqueé lace having a train that pools out behind her.

I love the delicate foliage-inspired lace that winds its way within the bodice, along with the subtle blush hue.

"I wanted something fitted but without an excessive amount of detail. I adored the rear and it fitted just like a glove making me feel so comfortable when I was putting it on. It also wasn't too hot – which I was concerned about!"

Don't the bridesmaids look so elegant in their pale pink bridesmaid dresses? They're from Newcastle and have the loveliest sleeve detail to help keep the look modern. Their hair was adorned with an easy floral clean, to complement the adorable flower girls' full crown of foliage.

A short veil, also from an engagement ring, and earrings from her granny completed her look. She added a spritz which Will gifted to her around the wedding morning.

"It was the very first gift Will bought me 10 years ago therefore the smell reminded me of that point. I am touched when I unwrapped it from him around the morning."

The groom chose to possess eleven groomsmen, all dressed similarly in bold tweed three-piece suits from Newcastle. After the ceremony Will ditched his funky pink raspberry bow tie and jacket for any more relaxed, informal style.

"We picked the traditional vows that are quite standard! My favorite area of the whole day was locking eyes with one another for fifteen minutes the whole way through our vows. We had discussed it previously and were both nervous about saying them before 135 people, therefore we agreed to pretend it only agreed to be us there. It provided the biggest butterflies and being intimate."

"My diamond engagement ring and our engagement rings were from Richard Sinton, an attractive jeweler which closed down about 6 months after we bought them because the owner desired to retire. Sad. Both our families happen to be buying their jewelry for many years from there plus they do such beautiful bespoke pieces."

The beautiful day resulted in the guests being quite happy relaxing and mingling on Newton Hall's lawns whilst the wedding party escaped for many portrait photographs. There would be a special doggy surprise for that newlyweds too, among Laura's very favorite moments in your day.

"My mother-in-law made the wedding cake. She is talented. She's not professional whatsoever, but everyone is impressed and she or he loved the procedure so much she's now made three more cakes for her friend's weddings since June!"

"We had lemon and red velvet cupcakes for favors made with a family friend, Judy, who's incredible."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"I loved the entire planning process. I'm quite proactive and love a project therefore I hit the floor running by using it for a couple of months as we got engaged. My advice is: Try and revel in it – it only happens once, it's over so fast also it's this kind of exciting time."
