Modified Cushion

A slightly different variation of the classic cushion, a modified cushion is square but has more pronounced angles than a traditional cushion. This gives the cushion a more modern and contemporary look that is a popular alternative to a more traditional rectangular cushion.

 

Chunky Cushion

While it is common to think of a chunky cushion as referring to the overall size of the stone, this type of cushion refers more to its faceting pattern. Using a tape measure to measure your existing cushion will give you the best result as measuring diagonally or standing up will produce different results.
