Standardization of charging connectors and protocols along with innovative business models for public and residential charging will be critical to manage costs as more drivers switch to electric. Governments are incentivizing the electrification of both private and commercial fleets through purchase subsidies, tax credits for setting up charging stations and preference in road access.
