EA Sports has the unenviable task of reintroducing Madden to gamers every year. The basic tenets don't change -it's a game that's always been a hit. Madden 23 is one of the most popular football games, which focuses on the simulation aspect and immediately will bring to mind Mut 23 coins. Madden 21. and really, every game in the series from it's Super Nintendo era. But after a couple matches during the closed beta over the weekend, it's clear EA is gradually but surely removing some of the sloppy patches that have plagued the series since the 1990s. Madden 23 isn't likely to make anyone believe in the game however it will provide long-time fans plenty of new ideas to consider.
The closed beta was limited to the usual quick play mode that's why I didn't have the opportunity to dive into what EA Studios has created on behalf of Ultimate Team, Franchise, Superstar KO, and so on. But I did take a look at some of the legitimately inventive ways EA is challenging Madden's fundamental principles. What's the first thing you'll notice? passing has become extremely intuitive. Madden quarterbacks used to be saddled with a slender arsenal of arm motions. you could throw the ball at high-speed, or lob the ball in the sky on deep routes. Today, all those movements are on a slope. The speed you throw are determined by the exact duration you hold the button, which gives you much more agency over where you position the ball to your receivers. You know how Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams seem to have improvised routes on the fly? It's kind of like that.
Madden NFL 23 Screens
It took me some time to get used to the changes after which, once I had understood the flaws, I came away thinking that Madden 23 provides the possibility of a greater level of skill than previous entries in the franchise. Your abilities as a quarterback will be dependent on how skilled you are when it comes to inputs this is a great change from the dice rolls and animation locks that have had many fans begging for the mercurial whims of RNG after tossing a button hook. It has me excited to play the game on the internet at first in years at least to see how the top players on the world take advantage of the additional freedom.
Passing has become so much more intuitive.
Sincerely, this is an area of focus all across Madden 23. EA has stated that the updated Madden's combat animations are more realistic and less likely to jam the ball carrier in the form of a loop that is cheesy and uncanny. The studio also eased up restrictions on ball carrier moving, so you will no longer feel as funneled toward the play style. Are you interested in making an impressive backwards cut on the screen? I'm your guest.
We'll need to see lots more out of Madden 23 before it is worthy of the time to make a decision, but EA seems to not be changing the rules here. This is the same engine, same aesthetic and the same overarching concept that has driven the franchise for generations. It's true that cheap mut 23 coins does seem keen to address some long-simmering issues that have plagued and afflicted the game for the duration I've been playing it which is more interesting to me than the new coat of paint the other modes get. EA looks to be prioritizing the fundamental, couch-multiplayer experience of Madden and expanding the game from there. I'm hoping that their approach bears results as we discover what else the game has to provide.
