Training Methods OSRS gold
Level 1 to 25: Chickens and Cows
Everybody should be aware of this location in the north, near the Lumbridge Teleport, a farmer has left all his chickens and cows unattended , ready for slaughter. In the beginning, I would recommend the slaughter of all chickens because of their weak defense. Any ammunition would be fine however iron knives are the fastest. Around the level of 10 or at that point, you'll make the switch over to cows in the pen to the east. These are a bit tougher than chickens to slaughter and give more XP. Do not bother picking up the hides, or burying bones or an arrow here. You want to be in and out as quickly as possible here.
Level 25-50: Sand Crabs or Rock Crabs
On the left side is the location you'd be able to train at if not looking to cannon to get early Ranged XP. It is situated south from Zeah as well. It is very popular training location because of its AFK style. At your current Ranged level , you shouldn't have to find a spot with three sand crabs since you'd not kill them fast enough to have a significant impact on them thus 2 is enough. an Dorgeshuun crossbow that has bone bolts would be suitable at any of these locations. Do not grab any bolts that fall.
The right side of the map is an iconic training area that sees less use in recent times due to sand crabs and ammonite crabs. Nevertheless, it's quicker than both of them if sufficient effort is put in. You can shoot this area, and also, using your main character, or with an alt, race around and agro all of the rock crabsand gain massive numbers of points of exchange. It is advised to run two accounts at the same time for this, as well as adding stamina potions as well as weight lessening armor on your account to help it keep roaming around.
Level 50-75: Ammonite Crabs
On Fossil Island (requiring Bone Voyage quest to get to) you can find ammonite crabs, these have double the power of sand-crabs and hardly any defence in any way. In a similar way to AFK nature of the sand crabs. You will take ammonite crabs to the ground and then stand there, auto-retaliating 10 minutes or until they are not aggressive. Once they are no longer aggressive, you can run away , and repeat the same process. It is suggested to use mithril darts and an Ava's accumulator. The amount of darts you need will depend on how often you're using ranged potions as well as the equipment you use, but they are extremely affordable and should not cost more than one hundred thousand GP. You should be upgrading your armor every 10 levels until you can unlock the highest gear. If you're already using Void equipment or don't mind grinding, Void would be the best armor to train with if you meet the 42 Defense requirement. The cannon can't be used here.
