Level 80-85. Now RuneScape gold you've got a choice: you can either stick with Yew Longbows or visit Magic Shortbows. If you are purchasing the logs, then I urge Magic Shortbows since they provide more experience. However, if you are cutting your own logs afterward even in 99 woodcut it is faster to use Yew longbows rather than Magic Shortbows, as Magic Logs are substantially slower to reduce. If you decide to stay with Yew Longbows you'll need to create 8,484 of them. If you decide to move on to Magic Shortbows you'll need to create 7,620 of them before level 85. Wonderful work, you made it! I would go do something else for some time -- perhaps alchemy, or market all those bows you just created and buy yourself something nice, or train other abilities. Just serious fletchers will need to continue beyond this stage.
Level 85-99. If you are really serious about getting to level 99 fletching, you'll need to make 53,420 Magic Longbows! Yeah, I know it's a great deal but do not be put off with it. You can do it and remember this can cause you millions if you'd like it to. Level 99. Congratulations! You're now among the top fletchers in RuneScape! It takes the ruddy bar about 4 minutes to refill, so that I wouldn't rely upon that. If you're not into battle, and by that I mean either Slayer or hunting trips, which are the key applications for the Godsword, then you can do just fine with your current weapon. If you are into combat, then the blade has a couple of standard benefits.
First is of course the Attack bonus - it might be less than 25% more accurate (fully outfitted, 163 using all the Godsword compared to 132 using the whip+guardian setup), but that is a huge advantage against the monster's defence ratio. It allows you to hit fairly more frequently, as far as hunting excursions go. The second principal advantage, is your Strength bonus. You're able to inflict at least 6 damage points than any previous weapon you had (I believe the most powerful was Dharok's Greataxe). Lastly, there's an extra 8 points prayer bonus.
All this is very nice for hunting trips, but for casual combat, mainly Slayer, the sword is less spectacular than you may imagine. It hits more frequently and harder, but twice as slow than the whip. It's certainly not the melee version of the Dark Bow, but without the Black Mask plus a super attack potion to make up for the loss of rate, I'd stick with RS 2107 Gold something different. Mind you, it still depends upon the size of this creature (Black Demons for example, Godsword's fine there).
