The neko 168 is a white and black cat that appears in the anime. It is a large ghost cat that loves kotatsu and haunts Ataru Moroboshi’s room. It is extremely strong and has bested Ryunosuke and Benten. It has a good friendship with Ten. It is also the strongest member of the neko family.

Attack

Like its name suggests, Neko Shogun is a neko who specializes in close combat and physical assault. Its attack power is not particularly high, but it can withstand some serious punishment from powerful enemies and is quite durable, especially when paired up with friends. Neko Shogun is first summoned by Jungo during a skirmish against the rebel mob at JP's headquarters in Hamamatsusucho. It fought alongside Airi Ban's Cait Sith and wiped out the whole mob. Later, it fights alongside the protagonist against Benetnasch during the final battle of the Septentriones. It learns Invigorate 1 and Fortified Moxy upon fusion.

Neko Shogun also yields the Cat Buster slingshot for Morgana, which has 170 ATK and 90 ACC and adds a Med Sleep med effect to her gun attacks.

Ability

Jungo summons Neko Shogun in a skirmish with the rebel mob at JP's Nagoya headquarters and it proves to be a formidable opponent. It specializes in close combat and physical assault and it is able to hold its own against the rebel demons, though it does not seem to do significant damage when fighting Phecda. Neko Shogun later appears during the battle at the Yoshiki Kingdom and it is forcibly destroyed by Megrez.

Neko Shogun can be summoned through special fusion once the Forget type is unlocked and the protagonist's Phantom Thieves level reaches high enough. It possesses the power Deadeye and can learn Invigorate 1, Fortified Moxy, and Cornered Fang. It can also yield the Cat Buster slingshot for Morgana, which has 170 ATK, 90 ACC and adds a med Sleep effect to her gun attacks.
