The Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) is a premier institute located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. It's a part of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and works in the field of remote sensing, geoinformatics, and GPS technology.
Established in 1966, the institute offers education, training, and research programs in these fields.  Their courses are designed for various user groups, including professionals, researchers, and fresh graduates. The course duration ranges from one week to two years.  They also collaborate with the United Nations Centre for Space Science and Technology Education in Asia and the Pacific (CSSTE-AP).
