One of the biggest strategies we try to help keep is a feeling of autonomy and pride. The concept or feeling that you're crucial in some special way, that you will be loved by way of a particular person, that somebody is giving you unique attention, they're a number of the ego's really delicate secrets. As I caused A Program in Miracles, I really could see that there is a fear of divine love in my own mind. I recognized this was the ego's anxiety about losing itself. The pride is scared to be exposed and being seen as a smoke of nothingness. That is driving a car of intimacy. We speak about this fear in relationships, which might be expected as concern with sexual closeness, but it's actually an anxiety about falling our identity, our disguise of individuality. It's the fear of having taken away by a glorious enjoy, a love therefore effective that nothing folks can even envision something as fantastic and powerful!

All unconscious guilt arises from that belief in separation. And as you truly provide your self to the wonder, you're feeling all those hidden beliefs and techniques are now being rinsed away and you finally experience that concealed belief in separation!
