If you own an iOS or iPadOS, this is just the right feature you might need. The best part is that Gmail lets you schedule emails on your iPhone and iPad. It is essential to mention that many Apple users prefer the Mail app that comes pre-installed. Sure, it’s a great application; however, it lacks some of the advanced features, one of which is email scheduling.

If you’re one of those who rely upon Gmail for emails, scheduling emails will become the most convenient option once you get a hold of it.

Scheduling Emails on iPhone and iPad Using Gmail

The first step before scheduling emails is to ensure that you have the Gmail app installed on your iPhone or iPad. Further, the steps to schedule emails are:

  1. Navigate to Gmail app on your Apple device.
  2. Enter your account details and log in.
  3. Click on the ‘Compose’ button in the lower-right corner of the window.
  4. A new email window will open. Enter the details like the email address of the person you want to send it to. Also, enter the message.
  5. Click on the ‘ellipses’ icon in the top-right corner of the window.
  6. A pop-up menu will open. Select the ‘Schedule Send’ option from the same.
  7. A new window with multiple options for email schedule will appear on the screen. To set a specific time, click on the ‘Pick date & time’ option.
  8. Set the date and time for the email to send automatically. Once set, click on the ‘Save’ button.

This is it! It was pretty easy, right? Scheduling emails is a very simple procedure, and one of the best features to automatically direct mails. As mentioned above, the Mail app doesn’t support the feature, but it’s likely to be introduced for Apple devices in the near future. Therefore, Gmail is the most convenient option.

In case you want to check other alternatives, Spark is another third-party app that can schedule emails for you.

So, have you scheduled any email yet to be sent out later? If not, use the feature now and get done with your work already.
