The Whole Composition Of The Fine Mist Sprayer

Dust caps: Usually made of PP plastic and often produced in clear form, dust caps are used as dust caps and safety caps to protect the actuator from dust accumulation and prevent accidental activation. To help the package stand out on the shelf, dust caps can be produced in stock or in custom colors.
Actuator: Usually made of PP plastic, this is the component the consumer presses down to spray the product out of the bottle. Unlike actuators on lotion pumps, fine mist sprayer actuators have internal components, including inserts, to create a specific spray pattern of the product being sprayed. Some fine mist sprayers have a lockout feature to prevent accidental dispensing.
Actuator Insert Insert: This tiny component consists of channels through which liquid flows, creating a mist-like pattern. In many cases, the insert is mounted on the outside of the actuator, which is the part where the product leaves the sprayer.
Closing Seal: The assembly that secures the entire assembly to the bottle. It is usually made from PP plastic and can come in many finishes or designs - including ribbed, smooth, matte or glossy finishes. In some cases, a metal casing can also be used to further enhance the shelf appeal of the package.
Gasket: The outer gasket acts as a compressible seal, sealing the closure to the connection area of the bottle to prevent leakage. Depending on the product/chemical composition, different gasket materials are required and it is a critical component that must be tested to ensure compatibility.
Ejection Mechanism: Usually consists of many components such as piston, housing cap, valve stem, spring, seal, and the entire housing, which is the part that transports the product from the inside of the bottle to the actuator. Generally, when the actuator is pressed down, the spring compresses, drawing product through the dip tube into the interior of the housing. Subsequent actuation pumps the liquid up through the piston towards the actuator and out of the pump through the actuator insert. The components that make up the mechanism vary by design, but the sprayer shown here consists of a piston, valve stem, spring, a seal mounted inside the housing, and a housing cover. The mechanism is then mounted to the closure and snapped together with the actuator to secure it in place.
Dip Tube Dip Tube: A long, thin plastic tube that extends the sprayer's reach to the bottom of the bottle. Unlike the dip tubes of lotion pumps, which are usually thicker, the dip tubes of fine mist sprayers are usually slightly curved so that they reach the bottom of the push-up area of the bottle and cut into a "V" shape or angle to avoid clogging.
