Cannibal enemies found in the Dry Steppes appear to drop axes more frequently than other enemy types. With that, said, players can focus on farming these enemies for a greater shot at getting a Diablo 4 Items Waxing Gibbous.

Farming Helltides in the Dry Steppes or running the Guuhlrahn Slums and Earthen Wound dungeons might be the best way to farm for this Unique Axe. Nightmare versions of these dungeons would be the most efficient farming spots, though they might not always be available since Blizzard mentioned that Nightmare Dungeons are on a seasonal rotation.

Is the Waxing Gibbous Good?

The Waxing Gibbous is great, much so with the proper build in the right situation. Waxing Gibbous grants Stealth after killing a monster with Shred. Breaking this invisibility effect then grants Ambush, which turns all attacks into Critical Strikes for a short duration. Note that this affects all attacks, which means any damage dealt by other abilities (such as Hurricane) will also be magnified once Stealth is broken.

Waxing Gibbous is the perfect complement to a Shred Werewolf build. With the Rampaging Werebeast and Dire Wolf Aspects, Werewolf Druids will be able to deal massively increased Critical Strike Damage while simultaneously enjoying longer Grizzly Rage durations and greatly reduced Shred Spirit costs.

This weapon works best in content where players can comfortably kill monsters within the short guaranteed Critical Strikes window. It's still valuable in Nightmare Dungeons of the highest tiers, but there are builds that outperform this in those situations, such as Tornado Wolf and Pulverize setups.

A Reddit user has made a list of where the best places are to farm XP in Diablo 4. The required XP to gain the maximum level in Diablo 4 is an insane number. Gamers are expected to grind religiously and amass 487 million XP to reach the coveted level 100. However, this is already a difficult task since each area and enemy gives out different values of points, and it will take revisiting areas and doing side quests to achieve this amount.

Only rivaled by the Rogue, the Sorcerer is a level above other Diablo 4 classes when it comes to barreling through the missions and reaching the endgame due to its efficient Speedfarming, and the Chain Lightning build is currently on top of the pile. Asides from the bonus aesthetically pleasing view, Chain Lightning obliterates mobs of opponents with relentless electrically charged attacks, dealing extra damage when bounced off the player. Although the Sorcerer may not be players' first choice to face the endgame, the build lends remarkable agility and is a great leveling option.

In terms of Speedfarming, the Twisting Blades Rogue is perhaps the best meta-defining build for this class. While not the easiest build to master, its pace and power are great for players to make mincemeat of enemies in Diablo 4, although it has the pitfall of weak defense stats. The Death Trap Rogue is slightly more preferred for the endgame, combining exceptional crowd control abilities with raw power to form one of the most formidable builds in Diablo 4.
