Immediate Action Required: If you own one of three specific Anker power banks, stop using it right away.

Anker, a leading portable battery manufacturer, has issued a recall notice this week, citing potential fire risks associated with certain batteries. Although the issue affects a relatively small batch of batteries produced between January 3 and September 17, 2024, Anker is recalling every unit sold.

The three affected Anker products are:

  • Anker 334 MagGo Battery (PowerCore 10K)

  • Anker Power Bank

  • Anker MagGo Power Bank

If you have any of these products, discontinue use immediately and store them in a safe location. Anker has provided a form on its recall notice page where you can enter the product’s serial number to initiate the recall process. Then, dispose of the device at a facility that accepts lithium-ion batteries.

This is the second time in 2024 that Anker has had to issue a recall due to fire risks. If you regularly use an Anker portable power bank, make sure it doesn’t overheat. For more information, visit t8tech.com.
