I have a few ideas about why this is accurate. Nostalgia is a powerful draw; being able to conduct content with your family and friends for the very first time, again is a strong draw. I understand parents who play WoW with spouses and their children who raid. A lot of individuals are having a lot of fun in Classic for this reason alone.
