Being a people-pleaser might look ... stupid.
For many, many of you.
But ... is this a quality?!
Or ... ?!
Well .... I know that … a people-pleaser is a person who puts others needs ahead of their own. This type of person is highly attuned to others and often seen as agreeable, helpful, and kind, but people-pleasers can also have trouble advocating for themselves, which can lead to a harmful pattern of self-sacrifice or self-neglect.
And the questions i dare to ask is ... does it worth it to ... sacrifice ourselves for the others?!
Many ... would answer ... no.
But i also dare to ask myself ... how would look my life ... if i would be surrounded by those types of people?!
Would i like it?!
Would my life look better?!
Would i be happier?!
... or at least less unhappy?!
Would i want to be surrounded only and only by those people?!
Maybe ... yes.
But ... what about you?!
Well ... most probably .... you'll answer the same.
Unfortunately ... I believe that being a people-pleaser... is a mistake.
We can do it ... with the ones we really love ... but ...
Yes ... even in such cases ... they will adore us ... only and only if we'll satisfy their needs and desires.
And ... if one day ... we'll not do it ... then the dynamic of the relationship ... will not be the same anymore.
That is what ... I believe.
... strongly believe.
So ... maybe we should find other ways in how they should feel ... this type of adoration for us.
