Enable or Disable Bedtime on iPhone (iOS 14 or above)
So, how to enable or disable Bedtime on an iPhone? Well, Apple has recently tweaked the process to enable or disable Bedtime in iOS 14 or later on an iOS device. Now you won’t see the Bedtime tab under the Clock app list. It will now be available for access, deep inside the Health app. Apple has tried to make the process a bit straightforward. Now the users will be able to handle sleep tracking handling very conveniently. However, it has resulted in great confusion to the users, as most of us are at present searching for the Bedtime tab within our devices and thinking where it might have gone and, most importantly, thinking now about how to turn off the unwanted sleep reminders. So, on that note, let’s get started with instructions for enabling or disabling Bedtime on an iOS device.
- Open the Health app on your iOS device.
- Further, click on the “Browse” tab appearing on the right side at the bottom of your device’s screen.
- Now, scroll below to “Sleep” and tap on it.
- Then, choose “Options,” that you will find by scrolling down a bit.
- Now, disable the toggle related to Sleep Reminders. That’s all you need to do, and from now on, the Bedtime reminders won’t disturb you anymore.
Further, if you ever wish to turn on the Bedtime reminders on your iOS device, head back to the same settings and enable the toggle, appearing immediately next to the right of the Sleep Reminders.
Enable or Disable Bedtime on iPhone (iOS 3 or earlier)
In case your iOS device is running on iOS13 or above, and you want to enable or disable Bedtime on it, then follow the steps we have mentioned below for the same:
- Head over to the Clock app on your iOS device running on iOS13 or earlier.
- Then tap on the “Bedtime” option.
- Further, click on Bedtime/Wake Up.
- Finally, disable the toggle relate to Bedtime Schedule.
That’s all you need to do if you want to enable or disable Bedtime on your iOS device, running version 13 or earlier. In case if you ever wished to enable it again, you follow the steps mentioned above in the same sequential format.
So, these were the steps on how to turn on/off Bedtime Reminders on an iOS device. However, it would have been better if Apple would have kept the Bedtime tab under the Clock app settings only. It might create confusion like battery percentage in macOS Big Sur’s menu bar and “disable autoplay videos” in Safari. We hope this gets sorted out in iOS’ next iteration.
