Elden Ring has been hacked. It's probably not a surprise considering that Souls games are often plagued by problems with Elden Ring Runes exploits that break games. However, this isn't a typical hack. It's not. Elden Ring is just the most recent FromSoft game that is being attacked by a infamous Souls hacker who has a special habit of invading the worlds them.

If you're familiar with Dark Souls hacker Malcolm Reynolds and his Dark Souls hacker Malcolm Reynolds, you'll be able to be able to guess what's going on. For those who aren't familiar, Reynolds is a longtime hacker of FromSoft games that caused a myriad of issues with Dark Souls 3 and Dark Souls Remastered players a few years back. In both instances Reynolds claims to have altered the game's code to allow people to be soft-banned by giving them unsuitable objects and effects on status. He claims he's similar to the gangsters as in Elden Ring, invading people's worlds and providing them with items they'd be better off not having before taking them down. Although it's not clear if he's capable of affecting the accounts of people, based on the footage that he's posted online it is clear that he has the ability to kill players in what appears to be unjust ways.

Reynolds posted a video on YouTube the 9th of March, showcasing his latest hack, with all his mischief accompanied by the cheerful tune of "Rama Lama Ding Dong" by The Edsels. The video begins when Reynolds' mouse cursor scans the box that reads "Hardscoping Tutorial,"" and then another box that reads "This is a ban on these hacks," complete with a small smiley-face emoticon beside the box. It's important to note, however, that there is no specific evidence that bans actually happen. The video is a rapid succession of him invading other players' worlds and causing complete destruction to them by launching a huge beam of fire that shoots from his hands and several others destructive magic spells. This is a complete sham, especially because the spells he employed--such as the fire beam -- appears to be significantly altered. Reynolds provided some insight into buy Elden Ring Runes the ways he alters the lives of other players within The Lands Between hell, and what he believes is the reason for it.
