Trading and the Currency Exchange Market
In PoE 1, Gold was integrated into the Currency Exchange Market, where players could trade consumable items (like Currency Orbs and Fragments). While Path of exile currency not yet confirmed for PoE 2, it is likely the sequel will retain this market system.
Market Limitations: In PoE 1, you could not trade equippable items (weapons, armor) through the Currency Exchange. It’s possible this restriction will carry over into PoE 2.
Item Trading via Website: PoE 2 will likely still support traditional player-to-player trades through external trading sites, especially for high-value equipment.
How to Acquire Gold
Gold can be acquired through several methods:
Monster Drops: Gold will drop naturally as you defeat enemies. If you’re within range, Gold is automatically picked up, reducing the need for buy Path of exile currency excessive clicking.
Selling Items to Vendors:
Magic and Rare items offer more Gold, especially if they are identified before selling.
Vendor value depends on the item's rarity, level, and modifiers.
Disenchanting Items: Some vendors allow items to be disenchanted into Currency Shards, which can combine into Orbs. However, this is usually less efficient than selling directly for Gold.
