Echo won another Mythic Plus tournament this weekend. The decisive factor was the exploitation of a game mechanic and a bug that allowed them to complete epidemic fall to +28 in time.

But this would not have been possible without clever use of the game mechanics and a bug. The Manipulated Plague Borer mob allows groups to blow up trashpacks by detonating them. Echo exploited this mechanism through a previously unknown deception bug.
Deception redirects the threat to the hunter briefly so that the tank has an easier time. By canceling the effect using the Cancelaura macro or simply clicking away from the buff bar, the threat transfer between the hunter and his target remains permanently active. This allowed Echo to be the only team with a hunter to always send the epidemic bores specifically to the tank and to reset the timer for its explosion effect again and again by killing it, because the mob only interacted with the hunter and not with the rest of the group Fight found.
This triggered another bug that snapped the plague borer to tank. "Snapping" usually only occurs when the aggro holder moves to a higher level. Mobs will then instantly teleport (or "snap") to their destination instead of walking the normal route.
